| In 1980 I started publishing articles and plans in aeromodelling magazines. During the 80ies I stuck with "Flugmodell + Technik" (FMT). In the 90ties many articles appeared in the German free flight quarterly named "Thermiksense" (http://www.thermiksense.de) and some in the French magazine "Vol Libre" as well. Since I took over the duties of a member of the CIAM F1 Sub-Committee and of a chairman of the German Free Flight SC, "Thermiksense" allowed informing the community about CIAM meetings and national and international championships. In 1998 the German Aero Club (DAeC) founded the magazine "Luftsport", and soon I contributed to assure modelflying the place which it deserves among the other airsports. In 2006, I became again an author of FMT (http://www.vth.de/modellbau/FMT/fmt.htm). In 2008, a very fruitful cooperation began with the German magazine "Aufwind" (http://www.aufwind-magazin.de, six issues a year and available in English as well). Till 2009 I published in "Aufwind" seven articles including two series, one covering free flying magnet steered gliders and another covering free flight indoor models. More contributions are to follow. |
