| This is the Website of Gerhard Wöbbeking, Hamburg (Germany). It shall give an impression of my livelong dedication to designing, building and flying of model aircraft. This hobby-sport granted to me unforgettable experiences, and I would like to share its values. Most of my activities are just my duties because of my functions within the Bundeskommission Modellflug of the German Aero Club (DAeC) and the Aeromodelling Commission CIAM of the Fédération Aeronautiqué Internationale (FAI) based in Lausanne (Switzerland). Both airsports-federations rely on voluntary work. Within the DAeC I belong to the managing committee of the newly restructured aeromodelling commission; within CIAM I am one of the Vice Presidents and Sub-committee Chairmen. But to feel happy, I need to practise. Beside of some competition flying - mainly with own designs in some national free flight classes and with indoor models - I enjoy to build and to fly small RC models. |
